Starting A Kali Game With Command & Conquer:
1. Connect to A Kali Server
2. Launch Command & Conquer
3. Select "Multiplayer"
4. Select "Network"
5. Select one of the games from the list and click "join", or click "create game" to start your own.
Starting A Kali Game With Descent (1&2):
1. Connect to A Kali Server
2. Launch Descent
3. Select either "Start an IPX Game" or "Join an IPX Game"
4. Select from the list of games that appear, using page up/page down keys to scroll through the various sockets (if no games appear, then no one is playing on that server, and you probably need to quit from the game, disconnect from that server, and start over again from step 1).
Starting A Doom II Game over Kali:
1. Find an opponent in Kchat.
2. If he is a PC user, make sure he is using version 1.9 of Doom II and is NOT using the add-on, kalidoom.
3. Decide which settings you are going to use (WAD, difficulty settings, etc.)
4. Launch Doom II while holding down the "M" key.
5. Select IPX from the popup menu.
6. Set the options that you and your opponent agreed to.
7. Start the Game.
Note: Although here I use Doom II, the procedure is the same for all "flavors" of Doom.
Starting A Kali Game With Warcraft II:
1. Connect to A Kali Server
2. Launch Warcraft
3. Select "Network Game"
4. Select "IPX over Kali"
5. Select one of the games from the list and click "join", or click "create game" to start your own.
